Suhdelukuun

Suhdelukuun is the illative form of the Finnish noun suhdeluku, which means ratio or proportion. In Finnish grammar, illative marks direction toward or entering a state, so suhdelukuun literally means “to the ratio” or “into the ratio.” The form is used in mathematical and statistical language, as well as in general discourse when a discussion or reference centers on the concept of a ratio.
