Stereosehen
Stereosehen, also known as stereopsis or stereoscopic vision, is the binocular vision cue for depth perception. It arises from the fact that humans have two eyes positioned a small distance apart, resulting in slightly different images of the world being projected onto each retina. The brain processes these two images, comparing the disparities between corresponding points in each image to calculate the distance of objects from the observer.
