Shichibukais
The Shichibukai (七武海, "Seven Warriors") is a fictional group of pirates in the *One Piece* manga and anime series created by Eiichiro Oda. Introduced in the early arcs of the story, the Shichibukai were a collection of seven powerful pirates who were granted official recognition and immunity from the World Government in exchange for maintaining peace and order in the Grand Line. Their status allowed them to operate freely without interference from the Marine forces, though they were expected to suppress piracy and enforce the government's will when necessary.
The original seven members of the Shichibukai were:
- **Buggy the Clown**, a cheerful but deceptive pirate known for his trickery and love of pranks.
- **Bentham**, a former Marine admiral who defected to piracy after being framed for treason.
- **Crocodile**, a ruthless and ambitious pirate with a penchant for cruelty and political maneuvering.
- **Don Krieg**, a former Marine captain who sought revenge against the government for his past betrayal.
- **Jinbe**, a former Marine admiral and expert in sea navigation, known for his calm demeanor and
- **Mr. 3**, a mysterious and enigmatic pirate with a strong sense of justice.
- **Smoker**, a Marine-turned-pirate with the ability to manipulate smoke and a deep sense of honor.
The Shichibukai were later disbanded after the events of the *Marineford Arc*, when their immunity was revoked
