Sekundærvindingens

Sekundærvindingens refers to the secondary winding of a transformer. A transformer is an electrical device that transfers energy between two or more circuits through electromagnetic induction. It consists of at least two coils of wire, known as windings, which are electrically isolated from each other but are linked by a common magnetic field.

The primary winding is connected to the input power source, and the secondary winding is connected to the load. When an alternating current flows through the primary winding, it creates a changing magnetic field in the transformer's core. This changing magnetic field then induces an alternating voltage and current in the secondary winding.

The ratio of the number of turns in the secondary winding to the number of turns in the primary winding determines whether the transformer will step up or step down the voltage. If the secondary winding has more turns than the primary, the voltage is stepped up. Conversely, if the secondary winding has fewer turns, the voltage is stepped down. This voltage transformation is essential in many electrical applications, from power distribution networks to electronic power supplies.
