Seacurrents
Seacurrents, also known as ocean currents, are continuous, directed movements of seawater generated by a variety of forces acting upon the ocean. These forces include wind, the Coriolis effect, density differences in seawater, and tides. Ocean currents play a crucial role in distributing heat around the globe, influencing climate patterns, and transporting nutrients and marine organisms.
Surface currents are primarily driven by wind and are found in the upper layer of the ocean.
Deep ocean currents, also known as thermohaline circulation, are driven by differences in temperature and salinity
