Scalasaig
Scalasaig is a small settlement located on the Isle of Colonsay in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. It is the main village and primary ferry terminal for the island. The name Scalasaig is derived from the Old Norse "Skálavík," meaning "bay of huts" or "sheltered bay."
The settlement is situated on the eastern side of Colonsay, facing the mainland and the neighbouring island
The village itself consists of a scattering of houses, a hotel, a shop, and the ferry terminal
