SSBbound

SSBbound is an online community and platform centered around the Super Smash Bros. series of fighting games, primarily Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The site was founded in 2005 by a group of fans who sought to create a dedicated space for discussing matchmaking, training, and competitive play in the Melee community. The name "SSBbound" is a play on the phrase "Smash Bros. bound," reflecting the game’s fast-paced, action-oriented nature.

The platform originally functioned as a forum where players could organize online matches, share training tools, and discuss strategies. Over time, it evolved to include features like matchmaking systems, leaderboards, and a database of player statistics. SSBbound gained prominence as a hub for competitive Melee players, offering tools to track performance, analyze match data, and facilitate organized tournaments.

While SSBbound was initially focused on Melee, it later expanded to support Brawl and other Smash Bros. games.
