SLC2A8

SLC2A8, also known as GLUT8, is a facilitative glucose transporter. It belongs to the SLC2A gene family, which encodes glucose transporters that facilitate the movement of glucose across cell membranes. GLUT8 is primarily expressed in the brain, testes, and adrenal glands.
