Røykdannelse

Røykdannelse refers to the process by which smoke is produced. Smoke is a collection of airborne solid and liquid particulates and gases that are generated by the incomplete combustion of organic or inorganic materials. This process typically involves a chemical reaction between a fuel and an oxidant, usually oxygen, which produces heat, light, and various combustion products.

The composition of smoke varies greatly depending on the material being burned and the conditions of combustion, such as temperature, oxygen availability, and the presence of catalysts. Common components include carbon particles (soot), water vapor, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and various hydrocarbons.
