Räjähdysaltisuuteen
Räjähdysaltisuus, often translated as explosivity or explosive properties, refers to the inherent characteristic of a substance to undergo a rapid, energetic transformation. This transformation typically involves a significant release of energy in the form of heat, light, sound, and pressure waves. Substances exhibiting explosivity are generally referred to as explosives. The key factor in explosivity is the speed at which this energy is released. Detonation, the fastest form of explosive decomposition, involves a supersonic shock wave propagating through the material, leading to extremely rapid and violent effects. Deflagration, a slower form of combustion, occurs at subsonic speeds and produces less intense pressure waves.
The chemical nature of an explosive substance plays a crucial role in its explosivity. Many explosives contain
