Rudradaman
Rudradaman I was a ruler of the Western Satraps in the Indian subcontinent. He reigned in the 2nd century CE. His dynasty, the Kardamakas, controlled a significant portion of western India, including parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan. Rudradaman is primarily known for his inscriptions, most notably the Junagadh inscription. This inscription, written in excellent Sanskrit, provides valuable historical information about his reign, his military achievements, and his administrative policies.
