Reléje
Reléje is a term that can refer to several related concepts, primarily in the context of electrical engineering and signal processing. In its most common usage, a reléje denotes a type of electromechanical switch. This switch uses an electromagnet to operate one or more contacts. When an electric current is passed through the coil of the electromagnet, it creates a magnetic field that attracts an armature, causing the contacts to either close or open an electrical circuit. Reléjes are used for a variety of purposes, including controlling high-power circuits with low-power signals, isolating circuits, and performing logic functions.
Beyond the electromechanical device, the term "reléje" can also be used more broadly to describe a relay
