Redoxreakciónak
Redoxreakciónak, more commonly known as redox reactions, are a fundamental type of chemical reaction characterized by the transfer of electrons between chemical species. This transfer results in a change in the oxidation states of the involved atoms. A redox reaction can be conceptually divided into two half-reactions: oxidation and reduction. Oxidation is the process where a species loses electrons, leading to an increase in its oxidation state. Conversely, reduction is the process where a species gains electrons, resulting in a decrease in its oxidation state. These two processes always occur simultaneously; one cannot happen without the other.
The term "redox" is a portmanteau of "reduction" and "oxidation." Identifying which species is oxidized and which
