Quadriert

Quadriert is the past participle of the German verb quadrieren, meaning to square a number or an algebraic expression. In mathematics, quadrieren refers to raising a quantity to the second power; the result is the square of that quantity. The operation is commonly denoted by the exponent 2, as in x^2, or by the notation (x)^2. The English equivalent is to square or squared.
