Pomenovaný

Pomenovaný is a Slovak word that translates to "named" or "called" in English. It is the past participle of the verb pomenovať, which means to name, to call, or to christen. The word is used in various contexts to indicate that something or someone has been given a name. For instance, a person can be pomenovaný at birth, a street can be pomenovaný after a historical figure, or a project can be pomenovaný to reflect its purpose.

The grammatical form of pomenovaný changes depending on the gender and number of the noun it modifies. For example, if referring to a masculine noun, it would be pomenovaný. For a feminine noun, it would be pomenovaná. For a neuter noun, it would be pomenované. Plural forms also exist: pomenovaní for masculine animate nouns, pomenované for masculine inanimate and neuter plural nouns, and pomenované for feminine plural nouns.
