Polaarringi
Polaarringi, also known as the polar circle, refers to a line of latitude. There are two such circles, the Arctic Circle and the Antarctic Circle. The Arctic Circle is located at approximately 66.5 degrees North latitude, and the Antarctic Circle is located at approximately 66.5 degrees South latitude. These circles mark the southernmost extent of the region north of which the sun is continuously above the horizon for 24 hours at least once per year, and the northernmost extent of the region south of which the sun is continuously below the horizon for 24 hours at least once per year.
The phenomenon of the midnight sun occurs north of the Arctic Circle and south of the Antarctic
