Paisventtiili is a Finnish term that translates to "expansion valve" or "pressure relief valve" in English, depending on the specific context. It is a type of safety device designed to protect a system from over-pressurization. The fundamental principle of a paisventtiili is to automatically open and release excess pressure when it exceeds a predetermined safe limit.
