Osztályozandó

Osztályozandó is a present participle adjective derived from the verb osztályozni (to classify, sort). It designates that something is intended to be classified or must be classified, i.e., items that will undergo or require categorization. In Hungarian it typically appears before a noun as a attributive modifier (osztályozandó adatok, osztályozandó anyag, osztályozandó tételek).

Grammatical note: the form uses the -andó suffix to express a future or necessary action and agrees with the modified noun in number and case. It is chiefly found in technical, administrative, archival and data-management language, where objects are organized into categories prior to further processing or decision-making. It is not a standalone noun; its function is always adjectival, linking to the noun it modifies.

Examples: Az osztályozandó adatok listáját be kell nyújtani a hatóságnak. A rendelet előírja, hogy az osztályozandó anyagokat külön zárttárral tárolják. A dokumentum a feladat során várható osztályozási lépéseket írja le, az osztályozandó tételeket pedig kategóriákba sorolja.

Contexts: előfordulhat osztályozandó kockázatok, osztályozandó dokumentumok vagy osztályozandó adatok megnevezése is, ahol a fordított vagy előzetes besorolásra váró elemeket így jelölik. A kifejezés tehát röviden azt közvetíti, hogy az érintett elemeket később be kell sorolni egy adott rendszer vagy osztályozási séma szerint.
