Noshörningar

Noshörningar is a term of Swedish origin that translates to "rhinoceros" in English. It is a direct and functional descriptor for the large, thick-skinned mammals belonging to the family Rhinocerotidae. These animals are characterized by their distinctive horns, which are composed of keratin, the same material as human fingernails and hair. There are five extant species of rhinoceros: the white rhinoceros, black rhinoceros, greater one-horned rhinoceros, Javan rhinoceros, and Sumatran rhinoceros.
