NordAir

NordAir was a Canadian regional airline that operated from 1963 to 1977. Headquartered in Thunder Bay, Ontario, it primarily served communities in Northern Ontario and Manitoba. The airline was founded to provide essential air transportation services to remote areas that were underserved by larger carriers. NordAir's fleet consisted of various aircraft types, including de Havilland Otters and Fairchild Hiller FH-227s, which were well-suited for the rugged terrain and short airstrips common in its operational regions.

Throughout its existence, NordAir played a vital role in connecting these northern communities for business, personal travel, and freight. The airline offered scheduled passenger and cargo services, as well as charter operations.
