Nafplio
Nafplio, also known as Nafplion, is a seaport town in the eastern part of the Peloponnese, Greece. It is situated at the eastern end of the Argolic Gulf and at the base of Palamidi hill. It is a historic center that played a key role in the early modern history of Greece; from 1823 to 1834 it served as the temporary capital of the new Greek state before Athens became the capital.
