Naalehu
Naalehu is a small census-designated place (CDP) located in the Puna District of the Island of Hawaii, part of the U.S. state of Hawaii. It is situated on the southeastern coast of the island, approximately 25 miles east of Hilo. Naalehu is known for its scenic beauty, with the Naalehu Valley offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the Mauna Loa volcano and the Pacific Ocean. The area is also home to the Naalehu River, which flows through the valley and provides a habitat for various plant and animal species.
