Mágnesekkel

Mágnesekkel is the Hungarian word for "with magnets". Magnets are objects that produce a magnetic field. This field is invisible but is responsible for the most notable feature of a magnet: a force that pulls on other magnetic materials, such as iron, and attracts or repels other magnets. The strength and direction of this force depend on the properties of the magnets and their relative orientation. Magnets have a north pole and a south pole. Like poles repel each other, while opposite poles attract. This property is fundamental to how magnets interact.

The magnetic field extends from the north pole to the south pole outside the magnet and forms a closed loop. This field is what allows magnets to exert forces at a distance without direct contact. Many everyday objects utilize magnets, including refrigerator magnets, compasses, electric motors, and generators. They are also crucial in technologies like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in medicine and data storage in hard drives.

Magnets can be classified into different types based on their magnetic properties. Permanent magnets retain their magnetism for a long time, while temporary magnets only exhibit magnetic properties when in the presence of an external magnetic field. Electromagnets are created by passing an electric current through a coil of wire, and their magnetism can be switched on and off. The study of magnetism is a branch of physics known as electromagnetism.
