Mutazilas
Mutazilas were a group of early Islamic scholars who emerged in the 8th century, primarily in the region of Khurasan, present-day Afghanistan and northern Iran. They are known for their theological views, which were a significant departure from the mainstream Sunni and Shia interpretations of Islam. The Mutazilas believed in the concept of "tanzih," which means the purification or purification of God's attributes.
