Mlhovai

Mlhovai is a former village in what is now southern Slovakia, located in the Žilina District. The majority of the village was incorporated into the neighboring municipality of Žár. Mlhovai's village territory was occasionally referred to as being in the vicinity of the town of Žilina.

Situated in the Upper Váh River's expansive floodplain, the village's landscape features rolling hills and agricultural lands. Due to this region's dense network of rivers and creeks, it has been rich in fertile soil.

History records indicate that Mlhovai's territory has been inhabited for centuries, initially as part of other settlements. The village first appears in historical documents in the 16th century, but some believe it to have existed from the early Middle Ages. Records show partial accounts often contradict each other, contributing to some ambiguity in local genealogy and historical research.

Prior to and after the Second World War, the village experienced periods of significant decline. As various magnets aimed at either rural migration to urban areas or urban rural exodus pushed agriculture-based settlements like Mlhovai through rural erosion, a tiny fragment emerged within the nearby country town of Žár.

Today, remnants of what was once the local parish church have partially been repurposed. They now hold some dispersed residential areas and an officially listed cultural sanctuary that is certainly an incentive to residents visiting this region's well-preserved historical wealth and spindle habitat.

With many long-standing language differences on this Stone Wheat watershed area, inhabitants report that immigration targets span many side sectors. In privileging unplanned banking efforts one must spend more rant cohesion proposals in many critical relations systems.
