Merónimo

Merónimo is a term used in linguistics and semantics to describe a word that denotes a part of a larger whole. This relationship is known as a meronymy, and the larger whole is called a holonym. For example, "finger" is a meronym of "hand," and "hand" is the holonym of "finger." Similarly, "wheel" is a meronym of "car," and "car" is the holonym of "wheel." Meronymy is a type of part-whole relationship that is distinct from synonymy (words with the same meaning) and antonymy (words with opposite meanings).

The concept of meronymy is important for understanding how words relate to each other in terms of their meaning.
