Melamiinipöly

Melamiinipöly refers to fine particles of melamine, an organic compound primarily used in the production of laminates, plastics, and coatings. Melamine itself is a nitrogen-rich chemical. When processed or handled in powdered form, it can become airborne as dust.

Exposure to melamiinipöly can occur in industrial settings where melamine-based products are manufactured or used. Inhalation is the primary route of exposure. While melamine is not acutely toxic in small amounts, prolonged or high-level exposure to its dust can lead to respiratory irritation. Symptoms may include coughing, sneezing, and difficulty breathing.
