Mansikan

Mansikan is a term in Finnish grammar used to refer to the genitive form of mansikka, meaning "of the strawberry." It appears in phrases expressing possession or association, such as mansikan maku (the taste of the strawberry) and mansikan tuoksu (the scent of the strawberry).

The root mansikka denotes the fruit strawberry; its plural is mansikat, and the genitive plural is mansikoiden. In normal writing, mansikan is lowercase; capitalized Mansikan may appear only at the beginning of a sentence or in titles and brand names.

The form is not a separate lexical item with its own meaning beyond its grammatical function, but it is a common component of descriptive phrases and product labels related to strawberries.
