Magyarorszagnál

Magyarorszag is the Hungarian name for Hungary, a landlocked country located in Central Europe. Its capital and largest city is Budapest. The country shares borders with Slovakia to the north, Ukraine to the northeast, Romania to the east and southeast, Serbia to the south, Croatia and Slovenia to the southwest, and Austria to the west. Hungary is a member of the European Union and NATO.

The Hungarian landscape is largely flat, dominated by the Great Hungarian Plain (Alföld) in the east and west, and featuring the low mountain ranges of the Northern Hungarian Mountains. The Danube River, one of Europe's longest, flows through the country, dividing it into roughly two halves. Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe, is a popular tourist destination in the western part of the country.

Hungary's history is rich and complex, marked by periods of kingdom, Ottoman occupation, Habsburg rule, and Soviet influence. It gained independence in 1918 and experienced significant political and economic changes throughout the 20th century. The official language is Hungarian, a Finno-Ugric language unique in Europe. The national currency is the Hungarian Forint.
