MXRs

MXRs refers to the line of guitar effects pedals produced under the MXR brand. The brand originated in the United States in the 1970s and gained prominence for compact, durable pedals that helped shape many players’ tones. Iconic models associated with MXRs include the Phase 90 phaser, the Dyna Comp compressor, and the Carbon Copy analog delay. These pedals became staples across rock, blues, and other genres, and the distinctive green enclosures became a recognizable hallmark of the line.

In the 1980s the MXR line was acquired by Dunlop Manufacturing, and MXRs continues as a product line under Dunlop. Since then, the catalog has expanded to include a broad selection of effects such as phasers, compressors, delays, distortions, fuzzes, chorus, and octave effects. The brand has also released reissues of classic models and artist signature versions, keeping the legacy while appealing to new generations of players.
