Mõõtepinnad

Mõõtepinnad refer to the surfaces of a workpiece that are used as reference points during measurement or machining processes. These surfaces are critical for ensuring accuracy and repeatability in manufacturing and quality control. The selection of appropriate mõõtepinnad depends on the specific measurement task and the geometric features of the part. Commonly used mõõtepinnad include flat surfaces, cylindrical sections, and features like holes or grooves.

In metrology, mõõtepinnad are often identified and utilized in conjunction with measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), or optical comparators. The precision of the measurement is directly influenced by the condition and accessibility of these reference surfaces. During machining, mõõtepinnad serve as datums from which other features are generated.
