Lúmenes
Lúmenes is a unit of luminous flux, a measure of the total quantity of visible light emitted by a source per unit of time. It quantifies the perceived brightness of light. The symbol for lumen is lm. One lumen is equivalent to the luminous flux of one candle emitting one candela of luminous intensity uniformly in all directions. Luminous flux takes into account the varying sensitivity of the human eye to different wavelengths of light. This means that a light source emitting 100 lumens of green light will appear brighter than a light source emitting 100 lumens of red light, even though the total radiant power might be the same. In practical terms, when comparing light bulbs or other lighting devices, a higher lumen count indicates a brighter output. For example, a 60-watt incandescent bulb might produce around 800 lumens, while a more energy-efficient LED equivalent might produce the same lumens with a much lower wattage. The lumen is the SI derived unit for luminous flux.
