Lohkojärjestelmä, often translated as "block system" or "block chain system," refers to a decentralized, distributed ledger technology that records transactions across many computers. This ledger is made up of a growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked using cryptography. Each block contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp, and transaction data. This structure makes it inherently resistant to modification.
