Liikennekäyttöön

Liikennekäyttöön is a Finnish term that translates to "for traffic use" or "for road use." It is a crucial designation for vehicles registered in Finland. When a vehicle is declared for liikennekäyttöön, it means it has met the necessary legal requirements and safety standards to be legally driven on public roads. This includes passing inspections, having valid insurance, and being registered with the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom.

This designation is essential for several reasons. Firstly, it ensures that vehicles operating on public roads are safe for drivers, passengers, and other road users. Secondly, it is a prerequisite for legal operation, meaning any vehicle not declared for liikennekäyttöön cannot be driven on public roads.
