Lichtintensität
Lichtintensität refers to the strength or power of light. It quantifies how much light energy is emitted by a source or how much light falls on a surface. In physics, it is often described by luminous intensity, which measures the light emitted in a particular direction. This is typically measured in candela (cd). Another related concept is illuminance, which measures the amount of light incident on a surface. Illuminance is measured in lux (lx). A higher lux value indicates a brighter surface. The intensity of light is crucial in many fields, including photography, where it affects exposure settings, and in lighting design, where it determines the brightness of a space. Understanding light intensity helps in controlling and manipulating light for various applications. Factors such as the distance from the light source and the properties of the medium through which the light travels can affect its perceived intensity.
