Lelouch

Lelouch vi Britannia, also known as Lelouch Lamperouge in his civilian identity, is a fictional character and the central figure of the anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Created by Sunrise, he is a prince of the Holy Britannian Empire who becomes embroiled in rebellion after ending up in exile in Area 11 (the former Japan). Under the alias Lelouch Lamperouge, he conceals his royal status while leading a resistance movement as the masked vigilante Zero and pursuing political change through strategic and military means.

Lelouch possesses the Geass, a supernatural power that allows him to command others to obey a single directive, using eye contact to activate the ability. The exact nature and limits of the Geass vary by user, and Lelouch’s power is central to his strategic repertoire as Zero. He uses the Geass to advance his goals, most notably to protect and improve the prospects of his younger sister, Nunnally, while challenging Britannian rule and various opposing factions.
