Ledningsvävnaden

Ledningsvävnaden, often translated as conductive tissue or conducting tissue, refers to specialized cells within plants that are responsible for the transport of water, minerals, and sugars throughout the organism. This system is crucial for plant survival, allowing for the distribution of essential resources from where they are absorbed or produced to where they are needed for metabolic processes and growth.

The primary components of ledningsvävnaden are xylem and phloem.
