Kopulatiivne

In Estonian, for example, the word "ja" (and) is a kopulatiivne conjunction. It is used to connect elements that are equally important, such as in the sentence "Ma söön ja joon" (I eat and drink), where both actions are equally significant.

Kopulatiivne conjunctions are distinct from other types of conjunctions, such as subordinating conjunctions, which introduce dependent clauses, or coordinating conjunctions, which connect independent clauses. The primary function of kopulatiivne conjunctions is to create a list or enumeration of items that are considered equally important.
