Kilopondi
Kilopondi is a unit of force in the metric system, specifically related to the kilogram-force. It represents the force exerted by a mass of one kilogram under standard Earth gravity. One kilopondi is equal to one thousand pondi. The pondi itself is a non-SI unit of force, and its value is derived from the force of gravity on one gram. Therefore, a kilopondi is the force exerted by 1000 grams, or one kilogram, under standard gravity, which is approximately 9.80665 Newtons. While the kilopondi was historically used in some engineering and scientific contexts, it is not a recognized SI unit and has largely been superseded by the Newton, the SI unit of force. The use of kilopondi is now uncommon in modern scientific literature and international standards.
