Kastittomia

Kastittomia refers to a genus of moths in the family Crambidae. This genus is endemic to New Zealand. The adult moths are active during the night, and they are attracted to artificial light sources.

The members of this genus are primarily cuppellated, and they have a unique characteristic known as microsculpting, among other features. This genus was first introduced to the scientific community in 1999 by holder&R ogers. However, NAVISON undertook revisions to this genus, releasing a revised species classification in 2005.

This genus' primary habitat includes New Zealand's low-lying vegetation near coastal areas. They are found near grasslands, and on coastal scrub in the country.
