Jäähdytyspatteri

A jäähdytyspatteri, or cooling coil, is a heat exchanger used to cool air or other fluids. It typically consists of a series of tubes through which a refrigerant or chilled water flows. As the warmer fluid passes over the tubes, heat is transferred from the fluid to the colder substance inside the coil, thus cooling the fluid.

These coils are commonly found in air conditioning systems, both in residential and commercial settings. In an air conditioner, the refrigerant absorbs heat from the indoor air as it circulates through the evaporator coil (which is a type of cooling coil). This cooled air is then blown back into the room.

Jäähdytyspatterit can also be used in industrial processes where precise temperature control is necessary. They are employed in refrigeration units, manufacturing equipment, and even in the cooling of electronic components. The design of a jäähdytyspatteri can vary depending on its application, including the size, material of the tubes, and the presence of fins to increase the surface area for heat transfer.
