Jóváírási

Jóváírási refers to the process of crediting an account with funds or value. This can occur in various financial and commercial contexts. In banking, it signifies an increase in a customer's account balance, typically due to a deposit, incoming transfer, or interest payment. For example, when a salary is paid into a bank account, it is registered as a jóváírási.

In retail and e-commerce, jóváírási can refer to a credit issued to a customer's account for returned goods or as a form of compensation. This credit can then be used towards future purchases. Similarly, in subscription services, a jóváírási might be applied to an account to offset a previous overcharge or as a promotional offer.

The term also appears in accounting, where jóváírási represents an entry that increases equity or liability accounts, or decreases asset accounts. It is the opposite of a terhelési (debit) entry. Understanding jóváírási is fundamental to managing personal finances, business transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. It signifies a positive addition to a balance, reflecting an inflow of value.
