Jäljekoolitus

Jäljekoolitus is a comprehensive system of education in Estonia, introduced in 1999-2000. Developed with the aim of ensuring that all school children acquire basic knowledge and skills in three domains: mathematics, reading, and information technology, the system aimed to standardize and enhance education.

Under jäljekoolitus, children are divided into two categories: "voussin süürael" or advanced, and "hajunud rinnai" or lagging. Educators use this system to identify students who are in need of extra tutoring or support.
