Izomgyengeséggel is a Hungarian term that translates to muscle weakness. It describes a condition characterized by a reduced ability of one or more muscles or muscle groups to generate force. This can manifest in various ways, including difficulty with movement, fatigue, or a complete inability to contract a muscle.

The causes of muscle weakness are diverse and can range from temporary and benign to serious and chronic. Common causes include overexertion, injury, and lack of physical activity. However, it can also be a symptom of underlying medical conditions such as neurological disorders (e.g., muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, stroke), metabolic diseases (e.g., diabetes, thyroid disorders), infections, and certain medications.
