Investeeringut

Investeeringut is the Estonian partitive singular form of the noun investeering, which denotes an investment. In Estonian, investeering also refers to the act of committing capital, time, or other resources to a project or asset with the aim of producing future benefits, or to the asset acquired through that action. The term is widely used in finance, business, and economic policy.

Grammatically, investeeringut is used as the direct object in sentences when the object is indefinite or partial, or after verbs that take partitive objects, for example after tegema (to make) or kaaluma (to consider). The base form investeering corresponds to "investment" in English, and investeeringut is the partitive case.
