Interjúzott
Interjúzott is the Hungarian past tense form of the verb interjúz, which means “to interview.” It is used to describe an action that took place in the past, typically with a subject that performed the interviewing. The word can also serve as a past participle adjective, as in “interjúzott személy” (the interviewed person). The form is constructed by adding the past tense suffix –t to the noun base interjú, which itself is adapted from the English word interview via French influence.
The etymology traces back to the English noun interview, which entered Hungarian in the late 19th century
In media and everyday speech, interjúzott often appears in reporting: “A múlt héten interjúzott az új igazgató”
