Identitetet
Identitetet is the definite form of the noun identitet in Danish and Norwegian, meaning identity. The term refers to the set of characteristics, beliefs, and experiences by which a person or group defines themselves. In everyday language, identitet is used to talk about personal identity (how a person sees themselves) as well as social or cultural identity (belonging to a group, nation, or community).
