Hsinking
Hsinking was the capital of Manchukuo, a Japanese puppet state in Northeast China. Established in 1932, the city was renamed from its former Chinese name, Changchun. The Japanese administration envisioned Hsinking as a model city, a center of Japanese colonial administration and a symbol of their aspirations for a "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere."
