Húgyvezetékeken
Húgyvezetékeken refers to the ureters, which are two thin tubes, each about 10 to 12 inches long, that connect the kidneys to the urinary bladder. These tubes are part of the urinary system, responsible for transporting urine from the renal pelvis of each kidney to the bladder. The ureters are made up of smooth muscle tissue that contracts in waves, a process known as peristalsis, to actively push urine downwards. This muscular action ensures that urine flows in one direction, preventing it from flowing back into the kidneys.
The walls of the ureters are lined with a mucous membrane that helps to protect the ureter
