Gedreht

Gedreht is the German past participle of the verb drehen and functions as both a participle and an adjective in contemporary German. It is used to form perfect tenses with haben, as in ich habe den Knopf gedreht, and in passive constructions, such as Der Film wurde gedreht.

In manufacturing and engineering, gedrehte Teile or gedrehte Werkstücke are pieces produced by turning on a lathe. The word is used to describe components whose geometry results from turning processes, such as gedrehte Achsen or gedrehte Werkstücke, and appears in technical documentation and specifications.
